There's a bagpiping unicyclist in my neighborhood. At first I thought he was a farmer's market anomaly, but today I ran into him again (almost literally, but we missed) while I was out for a walk. He's a big hit with tourists, if the crowds with cameras were any indication.
Wacky. I love it.

P.S. I'm using Definition #2 for "apparition" from the American Heritage Dictionary: "A sudden or unusual sight."
