I like this picture: For some reason, I feel like this tree belongs in a story. Maybe it's because it looks somewhat gnarled to me, and "gnarled" is such a story-sounding word.
"Knarled" is also descriptive of old hands, hands that have seen a life of labor.While I can disguise the passage of years by artful make-up and dress, my hands show my years! Maybe not "knarled" yet, but on their way. Then again, it could be sun damage! Love, Aunt Linda PS, I enjoy your blog!
